Since Voice4mail uses its own mail server and voice message server, you don’t even need to have mail set up on your iPhone to use it.

You can literally send messages to anyone’s email – it doesn’t matter if they have an iPhone or not. When they receive your Voice4mail email, they simply click on the play button in the message to hear your voice message. There is a built-in audio player so there is no attachment to download. They can then reply back directly to your email account.

If your recipient has an iPhone or iPod Touch and the Voice4mail app, your message will be delivered to their inbox directly in the app for listening directly on their device. Your recipient can permanently save your message as an mp3 file to their local computer or iPhone. Recipients with most other smart phones can listen to your message on their phones as well.
